Dual 60V asymmetric mosfet is automotive qualified
Called SQJ264EP and designed for automotive dc-dc switch-mode power supplies, to increase efficiency the mosfet are asymmetric as well as the package.

“Its optimised die size combination of control [high-side] and synchronous [low-side] mosfets provides higher efficiency than symmetrical dual devices in power conversions with duty cycles below 50%,” said the company. “Without an internally connected switch node, SQJ264EP offers designers the flexibility to configure the transistors to different topologies, including synchronous buck or synchronous boost dc-dc converters.”
According to the data sheet, optimisation is for synchronous buck use.
Operation is up to 175°C.
Gull wing leads allow for better solder flow beneath its pins, ease automatic optical inspection (AOI) and, according to Vishay, promote higher board-level reliability compared to QFN single and dual packages.
The device is 100 Rg- and UIS-tested, RoHS-compliant, and halogen-free.
Application is foreseen in infotainment systems, displays, LED lighting and e-bikes.
